Short-Term Opportunity with Licensing/Composition Company:

Jingle Punks was launched in the summer of 2008. It was created to fill the void created by stock libraries that refused to deliver relevant and hip content. Named one of “America’s Most Promising Startups” by Business Week in 2009, our client list has grown to include ABC, NBC, Comedy Central, Vh1, MTV, Bravo, TLC, Starz, History Channel and A&E. We also service many of the industries top advertising and branding agencies.
At any given moment one of Jingle Punks catchy and unique tunes are being transmitted across the 1000 channel universe and getting lodged into people’s brains.

Ideal candidate will…

Be able to play instrument(s) well.

Be interested in music licensing for Television, Radio, Film, Advertising and Web.

Be familiar with Performing Rights Organizations

Basic understanding of writing and publishing royalties.

Familiar with a wide variety of music genres and styles.

Familiar with numerous social media platforms.

Enthusiastic to learn and help!

During this experience, the student will…

Compose music at a fast rate for a particular client request.

Search the Jingle Player for music.

Driving to different places in Nashville for meetings when necessary. (Gas paid for by JP)

Helping to introduce Jingle Punks to local tallent and new meaningful connections in town.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This experience will last till the end of February – beginning of March. That being said, Jingle Punks intends to have a permanent Nashville office in the near future.
